Abstract

Kirik, a human boy raised in the village of the cat fairy Cat Sìth, is recognized for his talent by a visiting wizard teacher and is encouraged to enroll at the Wilderjest School of Magic. The school exists in a realm covered by a protective barrier and is a special academy that gathers children with magical abilities from neighboring countries. Driven by his admiration for magic, Kirik decides to enroll at the Wilderjest School of Magic along with his partner, the cat fairy Shyam. Kirik attracts attention for his quick learning of magic, spends holidays exploring the town with his newfound human friends, and is chosen by the teacher to assist in potion-making. This is a slightly mysterious magical school story featuring the laid-back Kirik and his reliable companion Shyam.
