Abstract
Insects account for 70% of all life on earth. Are insects small and weak? Not at all! In fact, they are the most prosperous and powerful creatures on the earth.
In a pinch, the mydellagob beetle uses the rocket principle to deliver a 100°C fart," "When it hangs out with its friends, it turns into a wild face (the flying grasshopper)," "It threatens with an alligator head and owl eyes? "The female giant moth is so comfortable in its home that it will never leave the minnow."
From familiar insects to rare insects such as "I've never seen anything like this! ", we will introduce their daring survival techniques.
Includes cute and amusing illustrations and four-frame cartoons by popular illustrator Yo Izumori, who is also a hot topic in the insect world!
From the characteristics of "complete metamorphosis" and "incomplete metamorphosis," to how to hold insects and how to use the "yay" meter. This is an illustrated book of insects' "amazing" ways of life that will surprise and impress you, and even give you hints on how to survive.
