Abstract

Taisho 10 years. Four years have passed since her husband, Ryohei Katagiri, a newspaper reporter, went to Russia for reporting. While raising their three-year-old daughter, Haru, Fumino has been waiting for her husband, who has left home and not heard from him, to return.
However, one day, Fumino is suddenly summoned to the Army General Staff Headquarters, where an elite officer, Major Seigo Kiyokawa, confronts her with her belongings, telling her that her husband had been killed in a horrific incident in Nikolaevsk.
Furthermore, it is hinted that her husband is involved with terrorists, and Fumino is put under surveillance by Kiyokawa, who fears that she may be in danger as well.
