This book unravels the history of the Korean peninsula from ancient times to the Middle Ages, and compares scenes reproduced in popular Korean historical dramas with the reality of historical facts. From the myth of Dangun, the founder of the Korean people, to the Three Kingdoms period of Goguryeo, Silla, and Baekje, to the military rule of Goryeo, the achievements of kings who were active in the grand flow of time are unraveled from historical facts such as "Samguksagi," the oldest extant history book in the Korean peninsula, and "Samguk Gimji.

The book provides easy-to-understand explanations of the unknown episodes of many heroes, with maps, genealogical charts, and illustrations. The book also introduces historical sites and cultures that remain in various parts of Japan as a result of continuous exchanges with the Korean Peninsula since ancient times.
