Born in 1960. Visiting professor at Ibn Khaldun University.
Joined Islam in 1983. Muslim name is Hasan. Graduated from the Department of Religion and History of Religion (Islamic Studies), Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo.
D. in Philosophy from Cairo University. D. in Philosophy from Cairo University, with a diploma in Qur'anic exegesis and a diploma in Hanafi jurisprudence.
He has served as an expert researcher at the Embassy of Japan in Saudi Arabia and as a professor at the Faculty of Theology, Doshisha University.
