Abstract

Sara, who belongs to the Inspector Section of the Metropolitan Police Department's Personnel Division, a department that deals with police misconduct, was assigned to supervise Saiko Minaguchi, a former colleague from the Investigation Division who now works at a driver's license office.
An inside tip-off was received that she was selling driver's license data.
Sara and his supervisor begin following Minaguchi, and soon discover a connection to an unsolved case...

Born in Tokyo in 1978. Graduated from Sophia University, Faculty of Law.
After working for a newspaper company, he made his debut in 2013 with "The Invisible Web," which won the 33rd Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Grand Prize.
His "The Snitching," "The Black List" and "The Reverberations" from the "Metropolitan Police Inspector File" series were made into TV dramas in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
