Author’s Information

Tomoyuki Shirai was born in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture in 1990. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tohoku University. His debut work was "Human Faces Are Hard to Eat," which was a finalist for the 34th Yokomizo Seishi Mystery Award. In 2016, his work "Tokyo Combined Human" was nominated for the Mystery Writers of Japan Award in the long novel category, and in 2017, his work "Goodnight Human Face Tumor" was nominated for the Honkaku Mystery Award. In 2023, his work "The Great Detective's Sacrifice" won the Honkaku Mystery Award and was ranked first in the "2023 Honkaku Mystery Ranking." His other works include "And Then No One Died," and many others.
