Abstract

Westerlea, the daughter of a duchess, is due to be the next queen - before she is condemned to death by her best friend, the princess. Accused by the princess of being the vilest woman in history, she drinks from a poisoned cup - along with the antidote hidden behind her tongue. Saved from certain death, she decides to participate in the selection of a new queen in a neighboring kingdom, where all women are eligible to participate. She travels to this kingdom where, as luck would have it, the new crown prince takes a liking to her and she is crowned the new queen at last.　
"I will reach for power above my station and prove my innocence. This will be my revenge."
Of course, this will not end with the betraying princess's humiliation alone. Her evil deeds will be judged - and the finest vengeance will be served - in this exhilarating revenge drama.
