Author’s Information

Manga artist. Born on April 19, 1946 in Qiqihar, the former Manchuria. Since his debut in 1967, he has created numerous works of horror and lyricism, such as Zoroku's Strange Disease and Hell Screen, mainly for magazines such as Garo, Shonen Gaho, and Shonen Sunday, and has established himself as a popular figure in the horror manga world. He is highly regarded not only in Japan but also overseas, and many of his works have been translated into Japanese. In recent years, he has been actively working as a lyrical horror writer, creating picture books.
