This book contains five stories including ‘Semi Kaeru (Return as a Cicada),’ in which Erisawa tells the unexpected truth about the ghost. The other story is ‘Komachigumo (Mother-eating Spider),’ which was nominated as a candidate for the 73rd Mystery Writers of Japan Award, in which Erisawa solves the hidden connection between a traffic accident at an intersection and an injury accident that occurred in a housing complex. Written by the young and talented author in the spotlight who had won Mysteries! New Writer Award, this is the second book containing five stories in the mystery series which won both the 74th Mystery Writers of Japan Award and the 21st Honkaku Mystery Award.
