Abstract

Don't be disappointed alone, let's think about it together. 70 words from Snoopy that will support you as you live your life as you are. Friends, the future, school, love, and yourself... For you, a teenager who is not easily divided, complicated, and full of worries and laughter. And for adults who were once teenagers. The Peanuts friends are complicated and clumsy, but still live their lives as they are. We present their 70 words to you with the original comic that will make you chuckle, the translation by Shuntaro Tanikawa, and the sharp commentary by the currently popular philosophy researcher Rei Nagai. When I was 13 years old, I was a disappointed child. I hated books that told me to "be yourself" or "notice the happiness in front of you." They don't give you "answers," but mutter "questions." They don't teach you, but they worry with you. -- Nagai Rei (from the preface) ● This book, which has been carefully crafted down to the ink and binding, expresses the cool and fun side of Peanuts, making it the perfect gift. The author, a philosophy researcher who is currently attracting attention, Nagai Rei, who has been holding "philosophical dialogues" with various people in various places such as schools and art museums, connects readers to the original work with sincere writing. Because she has been seriously listening to the real voices of teenagers in "philosophical dialogues" on a daily basis, she never treats readers like children, but rather stands by them like friends and thinks together about new ways of looking at the world. The world of Peanuts is a place where unique characters live together in their own way. When you open the book, the philosophical and humorous words will lighten your heart. A book like a talisman that you will want to keep on your bookshelf.
