Abstract
John, a brave hound dog in the service of his master, leaves his master and his companions and sets out for the legendary Highlands in search of his "true self" and "true freedom. On his journey, he has many adventures, overcomes many difficulties, and is led to the Highlands through encounters with friends and mentors. He finally arrives at the Highlands, but what is the view that John sees there?
This is a wonderful fable for all people who are wondering what we were born for and how we should live our lives.
Author’s Information
Industrial counselor and TA Master Consultant. After graduating from Tokyo Denki University, Faculty of Science and Technology, he started working as a trading company employee. Later, he worked for an educational company, where he was in charge of developing certification courses in psychological counseling. He has been active as a training instructor for communication and leadership development at companies, hospitals, and government offices. However, on September 1, 2016, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer; on June 13, 2017, he was hospitalized for one month for treatment of brain metastasis. A detailed examination reveals new metastases in both eyes (intraocular tumor), right and left lungs, lymph from lung to neck, liver, right and left kidneys, spleen, and bone metastases throughout his body, in addition to the brain. The doctor tells him that he could stop breathing at any moment. In this desperate situation, he has a strange mystical experience. After that mystical experience, he miraculously recovered, and by the end of July 2017, his cancer was almost completely gone. He is currently active in lectures, seminars, and writing based on the insights he gained through this experience.
