Abstract
A new standard book that conveys the memory of the atomic bomb, written by a third generation atomic bomb survivor.
At 8:15 on August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb in human history was dropped over Hiroshima. More than 160,000 people died in this nuclear attack. These two works by the third generation atomic bomb survivor, Wandering Kanabun, depict the people who lived through unimaginable misery and harsh days, centering on two people who tried to live in the midst of it all. These are non-fiction comics written from the perspective of people who experienced the bomb.
Author’s Information
A company employee living in Hiroshima Prefecture, she is currently working to share her experience of the atomic bombing through manga.
Her first work, "The Story of a Girl Who Saw the Atomic Bomb," which depicts her grandmother's experience of the bombing, will be published on the Hiroshima International Peace Center website. The two works included in this volume are her second and third works, respectively.
