Abstract
◎Be aware of the existence of cognitive bias and learn about yourself, others, and society Bias is something that cannot be separated from humans as long as they are alive. It is a phenomenon in which we perceive things in our own way that is different from reality. Why does it happen, can it be avoided, and is bias a bad thing in the first place? Is the reality that you see correct? How do other people perceive you? Although it is a field that has suddenly become more recognized, no one yet clearly understands "cognitive bias". We have briefly explained it with easy-to-understand illustrations, using various cases that we face in everyday life, including business scenes, as examples. ◎Research on bias by a supervisor who specializes in social psychology This book is supervised by Professor Masahiro Fujita, who is involved in research on the application of social psychology to the field of justice and teaches at the Kansai University Department of Sociology. Whether working adults or students, everyone cannot avoid "bias" in all situations. Professor Fujita's knowledge of "cognitive bias", who has studied this field for many years, is truly eye-opening and interesting. If you can properly understand cognitive habits and biases, you will be aware of the occurrence of cognitive biases in important situations such as business marketing and data collection and analysis, which will help you prevent mistakes. If you learn about biases from this book, starting tomorrow, the way you see and feel the world will change!
