After working as a lecturer at the University of Tsukuba Graduate School and an associate professor at Ochanomizu University, she assumed her current position in 2017. Her specialties are metabolism and applied nutrition. She is conducting research into the prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases from the perspective of diet.
