A club that studied Kenji Miyazawa, was active in the library of prefectural Noa High School.

The high school students pursue the mystery of their seniors and eventually come face to face with their own “truths” as they ponder the wordsand poems left behind by Kenji Miyazawa and his unfinished masterpiece, “Night on the Galactic Railroad".

This moving story resonates deeply with the adolescence of high school students living today and the words of Kenji Miyazawa (1896-1933, Japanese novelist, poet, and writer of children's literature).

Author’s Information

Sawako Natori was born in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from Meiji University. After working for a video game company, she made her debut as an author in 2010 with “Koban no Yoru (Night of Police Station). Has written many books, including “Penguin Railroad Lost and Found” which won the 5th Ekinaka Bookstore Grand Prize. The Ark of the Library'” was selected as one of the ‘best books’ by librarians in various regions, and is loved by readers of all ages.
