Abstract

Edith, the daughter of a viscount's family, finds herself in financial trouble due to the restoration efforts following a flood in their territory.
In such a situation, she is obliged to attend a royal birthday party, rumored to be an event to find fiancées for the two invited princes. Having no choice, she adjusts her late mother's dress and somehow manages to attend.
While trying to pass the time in the garden without mingling and waiting for the right moment to leave, Edith discovers a boy hiding.
Realizing that the boy is Curtis, the first prince and one of the main guests of the day, she can't help but scolds him.
