Born in 1972. Owner of the Japanese restaurant "賛否両論"in Ebisu, Tokyo.
After graduating from high school, he trained at a Japanese restaurant for nine years, and after his father's death, he took over his family's yakitori restaurant "とり将" in Musashi-Koyama, but closed it down on the 30th anniversary. In September 2004, he opened "賛否両論", which became a popular restaurant that was difficult to book.
In 2013, he opened a direct store in Nagoya.
He is active in a wide range of activities, including magazine serialization, television appearances, and food education.
In 2023, he opened a YouTube channel called "賛否両論": Masahiro Kasahara's Narrow Road of Cooking", where he generously shares cooking tips and recipes inherited from his father along with playful talk, and as of July 2024, the channel has over 730,000 subscribers. In September of the same year, "賛否両論" celebrated its 20th anniversary.
