Illustration[Kamo]: Kamo Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, raised in Saitama Prefecture, currently living in Tokyo. After working as a graphic designer at an advertising production company, he is now working as a freelance illustrator. His books include "Easy to Draw Cute Illustrations with a Ballpoint Pen" (Mates Publishing), "Useful for Childcare! Kamo's Complete Book of Illustration Cards" (published by our company), and many others. He has appeared as a lecturer on "NHK Educational TV Hobbies Doki!" and "NHK Educational TV Hobbies Doraku." He holds illustration classes and events not only in Japan but also in Indonesia, Korea, and China. He writes both text and illustrations, and writes everything from picture books to non-fiction for upper elementary school students. He won the 34th Japan Children's Writers Association Special Award for the "Animal Wonder Discovery" series (Kumon Publishing) and the 1st Japan Children's Book Research Association Works Award for "Dig Deep, Deep! Earth" (Kumon Publishing). His major works include "Galileo" (Kodansha), "If I Lived in the Deep Sea" (WAVE Publishing), "Science Picture Book" and "Living Things Picture Book" (Asahi Shimbun Publishing), "Miracle Spaghetti" (Froebel-kan), and the "Cipher Survival Academy" series (Gakken), among many others. He is the chairman of the Japan Children's Writers Association.
