Abstract
Many succulents grow in dry environments with little rain. As a result, their leaves, stems, and parts of their roots are "fleshy" and contain a lot of water, and plants with this characteristic are collectively called succulents. They have become popular in recent years because they have many unique and distinctive shapes and do not require much effort. This book explains how to enjoy them, such as how to plant them together and choose the right pot, as well as how they grow, where to place them, how to propagate them, and how to care for them, such as re-shaping them. The book introduces over 300 species that can be purchased at gardening stores. The book was supervised by Ozaki Flower Park, one of the largest gardening stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and provides explanations on species that are as close to home as possible. Find your favorite one from the many varieties available.
