Born in Osaka Prefecture. In 2003, he made his debut with "Sunny Days Let's Go to the Library" (Komine Shoten), which was an honorable mention in the 1st Japan Association of Children's Literature Writers' Association's Newcomer Award for Full-Length Children's Literature. His main works include the "Ghost Stories of Books" series, the "Ghost Story Collector Yamagishi Ryosuke" series (both published by Poplar Publishing), and the "Seven Wonders Shrine" series (Akane Shobo Publishing), as well as the novelizations of "Tales of the Unusual" (Shueisha) and "Fire Force" (Kodansha).
