Abstract

Starting with the psychology of seeing through gestures - "I see" is a sign of boredom, nodding repeatedly is pretending to understand, looking at the left side of someone's face is a sign of lying - this book goes on to link the psychology of understanding other people's feelings and psychology useful in business. If you can discern what others want and dislike, not only will you be able to live comfortably yourself, but you will also make those around you feel good and even lead to business success. This book introduces psychological techniques for smoothing human relationships, with illustrated explanations and plenty of concrete examples. Full color
