Culinary researcher. After graduating from an arts junior college, she helped out at her family's restaurant business before going independent in 2015. She started the food unit "Sumiya" with her husband Kazuhiko Tsunoda. She is active in many areas, including catering, cooking classes, supervising corporate recipes, providing recipes for magazines, publishing books, and appearing on TV shows such as NHK's "Asaichi" and "Hirumae Hotto." She is also active in supporting local agricultural products and producers.
