Masae Goseki is a Professor at Japan Women's University and a Professor at the Department of Food Science, Faculty of Home Economics, Japan Women's University.
Doctor of Dentistry and Registered Dietitian. Worked at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (Faculty of Dentistry, Biochemistry Department) since 1981. Obtained Doctor of Dentistry from the same university in 1989. Became a lecturer and associate professor at the Department of Food Science, Faculty of Home Economics, Japan Women's University in 1998, and has been the head of the Nutrition Research Laboratory and professor at the same department since 2009. Her books include "4th Edition Applied Nutrition Practice: Nutrition Management Learned from Case Studies" (Kenpakusha), "Applied Nutrition: Revised 2nd Edition (Nutrition Science Illustrated)" (Yodosha), "Latest Children's Food and Nutrition (9th Edition)" (Gakkenshoin), and more.

Mio Sasaki is an Illustrator and picture book writer. Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Musashino Art University Junior College and the Forestry Department of Nihon University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.
After working at an advertising agency, she went freelance in 2000. Her books include "Sorry, Come Out" (required book for the 70th National Youth Book Review Contest) (Bunken Publishing), "Pan Pan Pan Pan Panda Pan" (Kokudosha), and "USSOsauce Yakisoba" (Hisakata Child).
