Abstract

Written and illustrated by popular illustrator Serico. A food education picture book that conveys the joy of eating breakfast together as a family. One morning, Kuma-kun wakes up early and goes out to look for the perfect breakfast. Enjoy a little adventure with Kuma-kun as you encounter forest animals and delicious-looking breakfasts. This picture book will arouse children's interest and enthusiasm for food, making them think, "It looks delicious!" and "I want to try it!", and convey the joy of eating breakfast together as a family. Author’s Information

Illustrator and picture book author. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Fine Arts, Painting major. Picture book works include the "Polar Bear Brothers" series (text by Takino Miwako/Hakusensha), "Flip and Play! Mouse's Big Wooden House" (Nagaoka Shoten), "Arai-kun" (text by Nakagawa Hirotaka/Sekai Bunka Publishing), and character design for NHK Educational TV's "German for Traveling". Also active as part of the creative unit "Little Kochica".
