Abstract
A Bug-Hunting Chronicle of Being Stung, Bitten, and Eating Bugs"
A book chronicling the author's real experiences in their quest to learn everything about insects.
Sometimes letting themselves be bitten by venomous spiders to experience neurotoxins firsthand,
Other times having their hand pinched by stag beetles to compare their strength...
From getting swarmed by fire ants twice overseas,
To traveling to California to eat slugs that look just like bananas,
The author journeyed east and west in search of insects.
Their only driving forces were "curiosity" and "obsessive love" for bugs.
This unforgettable bug-hunting chronicle is filled with love and scientific inquiry, told by an author who put their body on the line for their research!
Also includes an "Obsessive Bug Encyclopedia" with the author's passionate commentary and
"Hirasaka's Bug Recipe Collection
