Author’s Information

(Author/Photographer) Picture book instructor, JPIC reading advisor, and parenting advisor. As a "picture book connector," he connects picture book creators and readers, people, and parents and children. He studied children's literature at university and obtained his picture book instructor qualification in 2005 as one of the first group of picture book instructors. He provides training to teachers involved in early childhood education, mainly in the Kansai region, and writes articles. In 2021, he opened a "picture book atelier" at his home. His works include "Daily Calendar" (Niji no Ehon-ya). / (Cover art/Illustration) Illustrator and picture book writer. Graduated from the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He mainly works on illustrations for advertisements, book covers, magazines, picture books, stationery, etc. His picture book works include "There's a Secret" (Hakusensha), "Let's Make a Spring Dress" (Bronze Shinsha), "Three Bears" (Froebel-kan), and "Little Flower Bride Gyoretsu" (Kaiseisha). Lives in Fukuoka Prefecture.
