Author’s Information

Comedian, manga artist and picture book author.
His major works as a manga artist include ‘Salaryman Yamazaki Shigeru’ (Pony Canyon), ‘Watashitachi Kekkon Shimashita’ (Shogakukan) and ‘Tumaneko’ (Kodansha).
His first picture book, Pantsu-san (Poplar Publishing), won the 25th Japan Picture Book Award. His book Obake no Kawa o Mukitara (If You Take Off the Ghost's Skin), published by our company, has won numerous awards, including the 10th Shizuoka Bookstore Award and the 15th MOE Picture Book Store Award.
