Located at the westernmost tip of Fukuoka Prefecture, Itoshima City. The author, a former "failed" public servant, reveals the secrets behind how he continuously promoted the Itoshima brand and transformed it into a popular destination!
Author’s Information
A former public servant of the Secretary and Public Relations Division, Planning Department, Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture. While working, he graduated from The Open University of Japan and later obtained an MBA from Kyushu University Graduate School. Utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired there, along with a hands-on approach, he successfully developed various Itoshima-brand initiatives. His achievements have earned him numerous awards, making him one of the most highly regarded local government officials today.
Currently, he is enrolled in the doctoral program at Kyushu University Graduate School and is working on further strengthening Itoshima City. He delivers around 20 lectures annually and, in his local community, is dedicated to preserving the traditional performing art of Kagura. A father of two.
