Author’s Information

Daniel Warriner
Born in 1974 in Niagara Falls, Canada. Graduated from Brock University with a degree in English Literature.
Came to Japan in 1998. While teaching TOEIC test preparation and English conversation at Hokkaido University and various English schools in Tokyo, he was also involved in teacher training and educational material development. Currently works for a translation company specializing in technical English documents.

Masaya Kanzaki
Born in 1967 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Instructor at Essence English School. Graduated from the Department of Marine Environmental Engineering at Tokyo University of Fisheries (now Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology).
Studied English and English literature in London for six years starting at age 24. As of March 2008, he has taken the TOEIC test 44 times, achieving a perfect score of 990 on 14 occasions, earning him a reputation as a TOEIC fanatic.
Holds numerous English-related certifications, including Eiken Grade 1, UN English Test Special A, and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE).
Runs the "TOEIC Blitz Blog", a resource for TOEIC test takers.
