Abstract

Akio Kashiwara, author of many best-selling picture books such as "Peek-a-Boo Picture Book" and "Spinning Stripes," has released his latest work, a pop-up optical illusion picture book. There are 13 fun and surprising optical illusion designs, such as "Turn the cow upside down and a penguin will appear!" and "Turn the octopus upside down and it will transform into a peacock!" According to Kunitake Sasou, a professor at Tama Art University who is also involved in children's art projects, looking at pictures upside down is recommended as the first step in developing children's creativity. This is the perfect first picture book to open the door to art.
