Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Faculty of Education, Tokyo Gakugei University. Science teacher at Ochanomizu University Elementary School. Former lecturer at Japan Women's University and former lecturer at Dokanzan Gakuen Nursery School. Expanding scientific ways of thinking and perspectives through lessons that stimulate children's curiosity every day. In addition, she publishes an email magazine for science teachers called "Daily Science" 366 days a year, proposing practical methods to enhance investigative skills. She developed the innovative watercolor material "Water Brush Pen" and has written many books on watercolor techniques that anyone can use.
