Author’s Information

Born in Tokyo in 1971, Kunio Nakamura is an artist and the founder of 6 Jigen in Ogikubo, Tokyo. They create kintsugi works and paintings, as well as write, in both Japan and the U.S. Based in Tokyo and Nagano, they also have a base in Wajima, on the Noto Peninsula.

Their published works include Kintsugi Notebook, Antique Art Notebook, A Visual Guide to Western Painting, The Art History of Western Painters, The Complicated Art Museum, and The Complicated Love Art Museum, among others.
