Abstract

After becoming a manga artist, my social circle started to grow, and as I got busier, I began to think, "Maybe it's about time for a girlfriend, too..." Meanwhile, Chinko gradually started showing signs of jealousy.
I had friends, a mom, and an older brother, but for Chinko, who had no parents, no siblings, and no friendly cats to bond with, I was the only one.
Then one day, I heard the cry of a stray kitten somewhere in the rain. Even though I knew Chinko would get upset, I just couldn't ignore it...
Damn it, why did I have to fall for a cat!?

Manga artist. Former professional boxer. Originally from Niigata City (formerly Kameda Town), Niigata Prefecture.
In 1999, won the Yuji Aoki Award for "Imoutoyo". Has authored numerous works, including "Cat Doesn't Come Even If Called" (published by Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha).
