Abstract

Mr. Yamada, the ultimate cat enthusiast, battles for his sleeping space against Shima on long autumn nights. When he sees Shima curled up into a ball, he senses the arrival of winter and brings out the heated kotatsu table. In 1980, she made her debut as a manga artist. Her notable works include Ensemble and the Nukunuku series. The sequel to Nukunuku, titled Nukunuku+, is currently being serialized on Home-sha's webcomic platform, Pura@Home. As a professional manga artist and golfer, she is also illustrating and serializing My Magnolia Lane (original story by Takashi Uesugi, supervised by Manabu Nakai) in Bogey, a quarterly publication by Golf Digest Comics.
