Author’s Information

Nobuaki Takebe
Editor, translator, writer, and author. Specializes in Norse/Celtic mythology, demonology, monster studies, and film criticism. Member of the Japan-Iceland Society, Hirosaki Pen Club, and the NPO Harappa. His major works include "Residents of the Fantasy World" (co-authored, Shinkigensha), "Encyclopedia of the Strongest Dragons" (supervised, Gakken), and "Great Illustrated Book of Fantasy Dragons" (supervised, Kanzen), among many others.

Aoi Takashiro
Writer, illustrator, photographer, tarot counselor, Zi Wei Dou Shu (Chinese astrology) fortune teller, and miniature goldfish Nebuta artist. Under her former pen name, Aoi Takashiro, she co-authored "Myths of Flowers" and "Legends of Trees", and provided demon explanations for the "Kazuma Kaneko Art Collection" series (Shinkigensha). She also created game scenarios, including "Kimokawa E!" (5pb.), among others.
