Mathematical optimization is a useful tool for making the best decisions in business and everyday life. By using mathematical optimization, you can efficiently find the optimal solution to maximize (or minimize) the desired value, for example, when you want to find the product price that maximizes sales or minimize the risk of an investment portfolio. In this book, you can deepen your understanding of mathematical optimization by actually operating Excel and solving specific problems. This book can be used as an introduction to data science, and is easy to understand, even for those who have never before been exposed to mathematical optimization.

Majored in financial engineering at Keio University. After graduating from university, worked as a data scientist for a start-up company in consulting and other businesses.
Later, at a major distribution and retail business company, he promoted the use of data and AI in retail, logistics, delivery, and other businesses.
Established Libercraft Inc. to provide contract development, consulting, education and training business related to AI development and data science.
