Graduated from the Department of Physics, College of Science and Engineering, Aoyama Gakuin University. While in college, he established a limited liability company “Dennou-tai” with his friends.
In August 2000, he joined Yahoo Japan Corporation following the merger of PIM Corporation and Yahoo Japan Corporation. after resigning once in 2011, he again joined Yahoo Japan in April 2012 as Executive Officer and CMO, in charge of planning strategy for mobile business.
In November 2017, he was appointed as the Japan Representative of LinkedIn (LinkedIn), a business-specific network used by about 800 million people. He also serves as a strategic and technical advisor for several startups. He is the author of the book, “Kenshoku 2.0” (SB Creative).
