Born in Kanagawa in 1976, Takata is an illustrator and cartoonist living in Berlin.
Started his career as a freelance illustrator in 2004. Since then, he has been working in a fully digital production environment.
He has established a free work style, free from location and industry conventions, utilizing a fully digital production environment.
In 2012, he and his wife moved to Germany. He is also a blogger and social networker, sharing his work techniques
