Author’s Information
Tomoya Kaisi
Art Director/Graphic Designer. Representative Director of Room Composite Co. Professor at Tokyo Zokei University. After graduating from Kansai University with a degree in Industrial Psychology, he worked for an advertising production company before becoming independent in 2004 and incorporating in 2007. In his work, he emphasizes process, context, and their verbalization, and engages in a variety of concept-making and design activities in a way that runs alongside his clients. Awards include the Hong Kong International Poster Triennial Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards/KAN Tai-Keung Award, the APA Kanamaru Shigemine Award, the Senken Distribution Advertising Award Gold Prize, and the Excellent Award at the Shenzhen International Poster Festival. His major publications include “How to Design: The Most Interesting Design Textbook, Revised Edition” (MDN Corporation).
