Abstract

This is the fourth artbook by Akane Aki, an illustrator who has been gaining attention around the world, including in Asia and Europe. Akane Aki is a popular illustrator known for her vivid colors and bewitching, beautiful expressions that are unforgettable once you see them. She has held solo exhibitions not only in Japan but also in France, Taiwan, and in recent years in Korea, and has been invited to the Anime Japan Expo in Germany, and is increasingly attracting attention around the world, especially in Asia and Europe. In the commercial world, she is active in a wide range of areas, including character design for media mix projects such as "Paradox Live" and "Kamishinkashin," main visuals for the Hatsune Miku JP Tour, Nijisanji-related illustrations, game-related illustrations, and novel cover illustrations. This book features original and commercial works from her previous work, "Aki Akane Art Collection Yoha." The cover illustration is a new drawing, and the making of it is also included.

His work includes character design for "Kamishinkeshin" (a Japanese-style music project linked to a novel), character design for "Paradox Live" (a hip-hop media mix project), the main visual for the Hatsune Miku JP tour, illustrations for the music game "CHUNITHM", illustrations related to Nijisanji (Halloween goods, Shirinsou, Kana Kenya's birthday illustrations, etc.), cover illustrations for the novels "The Truth and Intentions of Tsujimiya Saku", "Three Minute Survival: Failure or Success? A Fateful Choice", "Can You Notice the Hidden Meaning? A Three Minute Mystery: The Truth in the Darkness", and "Fukurokoji-kun is in a Closed Circle Today as Well", illustrations for the MV for VALSHE 10th Anniversary BEST, and participation in "Disney Twisted Wonderland Art Gallery 2". Recently, he has expanded the scope of his activities to the art field, holding solo exhibitions especially in France and exhibiting at Art Fair Tokyo.
