Megumi Iwasa Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design. Children's literature works include "I'm Called a Kirin Living in Africa" (2018 German Children's Literature Prize winner), "Stories of the Whale Sea" series (Kaiseisha), "Uncle Buffalo's Gift" (Kodansha), etc.

Nao Takabatake Born in Gifu Prefecture. Picture book author. Picture book works include "Cheetah Big Sale" (Ehonkan), "Daruma!" "Maneki Neko Da!!" (both Kogakusha), "Banana Jiken" (BL Publishing), "Sorakara Bofun" (Kumon Publishing), "Ushi to Zan" "Broron Dororon" (both Shogakukan), and many others.
