Author’s Information

Mizuhiki Origami craft artist and representative of Moeka no Kai.
He has been fond of handicrafts since he was a child, and is well versed in Japanese embroidery, bamboo crafts, and temari (Japanese traditional handicrafts).
He studied under Mizuhiki artist Sekijima Setsui and Ogasawara-ryu Mizuhiki Origami head Ota Tsurumai. He then pursued his own Mizuhiki Origami works, and founded and teaches the traditional craft Moeka (Moeka no Kai). He is qualified as a master of the Japan Handicraft Instructors Association and uses the pen name Yukihiro. He has exhibited at Japan Week in Europe, as well as at galleries in Tokyo and department stores around the country. He is the author of the book "Mizuhiki Origami Works Collection."
