Abstract

Jun Kumaori, a book cover artist and picture book illustrator, presents a collection of his latest works, including his now deceased dog Hatchan. In addition to his collection of tranquil, poetic illustrations of the relationship between dogs and humans, he also includes carefully selected works of the sea, birds, cats, baby goats, and boys and girls.

Jun Kumaori... Born in Kyoto Prefecture. Illustrator and painter.
His main works for which he has been responsible for cover illustrations include "Penguin Highway" (Kadokawa Shoten), "Antarctic Dog Story" (Heart Publishing), and "Send Me, God of the Wind" (Komine Shoten).
Her picture books include "Look, Look! The Baby Dog" and "You and the Wind" (both published by Iwasaki Shoten).
