Abstract

In recent years, landscape photos that look good on social media have become popular, and photos of huge factories, which were popular a dozen years ago, are now becoming popular again. The appeal of factory photos is their majestic scale and the structural beauty created by the complex collection of buildings. In particular, night views brightly lit by various lights have a different beauty from daytime. Photographer Tetsuro Kobayashi, who covers factories all over Japan, picks out photogenic factory spots and introduces in detail the highlights of each and the type of photos you can take there. He also explains the preparations and knowledge you need to know when photographing factories, tips for taking photos, and image editing techniques to make the photos you take look beautiful.
