Abstract
This is a food photography technique book that compiles the "Delicious Moments" serialized in Commercial Photo from the April 2023 issue to the April 2024 issue and the March 2024 issue special feature "More! Delicious Moments". The most important thing in food photography is to capture the "delicious moment" of the subject. These moments are everywhere, such as fried chicken just scooped out of the oil, a cold drink dripping with condensation, simmering oden, ice cream that has started to melt, and ramen picked up with chopsticks along with steam. The best food photos are completed by determining the best moment according to the subject and purpose, and pursuing visuals that stimulate the viewer's five senses. To do this, the photographer's abilities, such as aesthetic sense based on experience, ideas for screen composition, and techniques for expressing sizzle, are tested. In this book, hue, a creative team specializing in sizzle photography at Amana Inc., which has many food-specialized photographers on staff, will explain the know-how needed to visualize delicious moments.
