Abstract

This is the first collection of works by Tetsuro Okabe, who is popular on social media for his gentle cat series. Since the 2000s, Okabe has been creating and presenting cat artwork with stylish lines and colorful colors. He has been releasing postcards and goods with positive and warm words attached to his cat illustrations, and in recent years has been actively holding exhibitions at department stores and other venues, expanding his fan base. This collection of works is a carefully selected collection of the artist's favorite works from those he has mainly exhibited at exhibitions, and includes new works. There is a wide variety of works, including pen drawings, watercolors, and digital works. There is also an interview with the artist at his studio in Gunma, and a corner for goods that have been commercialized so far.
