Abstract

"Makeup reflects the times" In the 100 years since Western makeup became commonly adopted in the 1920s, Japanese makeup has reflected the colors of each era and changed its characteristics. This book is supervised by the Shiseido Beauty Creation Center, which has been researching "Japanese makeup" closely for many years, and uses photographs and illustrations to clearly explain the evolution of makeup from the 1920s to the present.
