Abstract

If you take photos with your own sensibility, photography is fun! This is a proposal by photographer Harutaka Nodera to take your photography skills one step further. We have compiled the necessary thoughts and hints to take a step forward from the worries and slumps that you tend to fall into while taking photos. We will tell you the wisdom to realize what is missing in your photos and enjoy photos that are "your own" and have your sensibility and individuality for a long time. ■ Chapter 1 To continue taking photos for a long time CONTENT01 The important elements for taking photos are sensibility, subject, and technique. CONTENT02 Good photos are not always attractive. The important thing is beyond that. CONTENT03 Choose a camera based on "What do you want to take a picture of?" CONTENT04 The fastest way to improve is to imitate your favorite photos. CONTENT05 The theme is "the feeling that the artist wants to convey the most". CONTENT06 Decide on the theme before taking photos of familiar hometowns and family. CONTENT07 What is the title of the work that stimulates the viewer's imagination? CONTENT08 It's okay to add composition to a snapshot later, but don't neglect it. ...and more ■Chapter 2 How to take photos and ways of thinking to deepen your photographyCONTENT27 Take photos using the five senses + emotions to the fullest. CONTENT28 Show photos that are full of individuality, not showing off your techniques. CONTENT29 Good photographers are good at predicting. CONTENT30 Imagine the final result before taking the photo. CONTENT31 After looking at the center of the viewfinder, always check the four corners. CONTENT32 Framing is difficult to learn at a desk, so master it on location. CONTENT33 You can imagine the perspective by looking at the subject with your eyes like a lens. CONTENT34 Honing your skills in snapshots can be applied to any type of photography. ...and more ■Chapter 3 How to find your own unique perspectiveCONTENT51 "Intention" becomes a blueprint, but "artificiality" becomes a cunningness aimed at attracting laughs. CONTENT52 Group photos can be either story-type or collection-type. CONTENT53 Group photos can be any number of photos. CONTENT54 Don't hesitate, hold a photo exhibition. CONTENT55 Holding a photo exhibition is an investment in your future. CONTENT56 Lessons from Katsushika Hokusai's timeless camera eye. CONTENT57 The way to photograph the "world's most beautiful woman" is to not show everything. CONTENT58 Shoot digitally to get closer to film photography. ...and more
