Abstract
Life Lessons from the Shiba Inu
The Shiba Inu is often characterized as being tsundere (aloof yet affectionate), stubborn, or simply earnest. But precisely because of these traits, they are devoted to their owners and know how to live life authentically.
This book is a collection of gentle life hints, learned from the author's 20 years of living with four successive Shiba Inus, by a popular illustrator. The soft drawings and accompanying phrases resonate deeply with the heart:
"If you're feeling hazy, take a break."
"You only need a little of what's necessary."
"Walk your own path, ignoring those around you."
"Enjoy the present more than looking back."
"Cherish what makes you comfortable."
When you're tired, need a boost of energy, or are feeling stuck, a quick flip through this book will soothe your mind and reassure you that it's okay just to be yourself.
